Meditate Your Way To Less Stress, More Success

“If you can keep your wits about you while all others are losing theirs, the world will be yours.”
– Rudyard Kipling

These are stressful times, and it can be difficult to exhibit the equanimity described in Rudyard Kipling’s famous quote above. An overwhelming majority of doctors have concluded that over 80% of all physical disease and mental disorder is either directly caused, or greatly exacerbated, by stress. The good news is that scientists can now verify the advantages of the regular practice of stress reducing techniques such as Vedic Meditation. Many doctors have recommended what they call, “Medicinal Meditation” as an important component in healing and prevention.

Vedic Meditation is a 5,000-year-old Ayurvedic tradition that comes from India. It releases stress and provides physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and even financial benefits. It not only helps you feel better but feel better about yourself as well. It increases intelligence, creativity, sense of well-being and the quality of your relationships.

Just 15-20 minutes twice a day and you feel better than getting eight hours of uninterrupted sleep. However, feeling blissful is not the goal of meditation. It’s a side benefit, a by-product of the many changes which take place in the mind and body while engaged in the practice.

The real goal of meditation is to release stress and strain from the physiology, so when you come back into activity you are simultaneously calmer and more focused, and therefore more productive.

Within minutes of beginning to meditate, breath rates and metabolism are routinely measured many times deeper than that of deep sleep, even though you are fully alert on the inside and completely aware of your surroundings. At this deeper level of rest, the body’s own healing mechanisms have a chance to kick in, repairing damaged cells and rejuvenating the system. This is why when you’re sick, the doctor tells you to, “Go home, drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest.”

Ever had one of those days where everything goes right? This is an example of being in the zone. Vedic Meditation enables you to naturally stay in the zone more often, for longer periods of time. It not only relaxes you but enlivens you. You gain the ability to sidestep the arrows of stress coming at you all day long. You end up feeling better, looking brighter and producing more with less effort. The result is that you have more awareness and energy to accomplish dynamic activity in all areas of life.

In Vedic Meditation, no effort is required. With proper instruction, the mind and body naturally knows what to do without having to think about it. Trying to control the mind or body only creates strain, leading to more stress, not less. This defeats the entire purpose.

Science is now starting to verify what people who meditate have subjectively reported for thousands of years; That regular Vedic Meditation increases creativity, intelligence and relationships. They report being happier and accomplishing more with less effort. The struggle goes away and life just seems to flow better.

After 40 years of studying, practicing & teaching Vedic Meditation to thousands of people, our students have repeatedly confirmed the positive effects encompassing all areas of their life. Try it…You’ll like it! What have you got to lose, except a little bit of stress?
